Signals Future
by Troy Anthony Platt
The future of these signals
Time for the tracks to change
Underground for a subway
How I have this idea.
To see the rails
Connected to the Ballarat airport
Time for us to grow
Just like Melbourne town.
The train will move fast
Sometimes, there will be steam trains
Giving children a ride
The weathering future will be underground subways.
Listen to Troy’s poem:
>> Troy has been writing poetry for many years. He has entered poems in competitions in Australia and abroad. He is a regular attendee at Words Out Loud in Ballarat and is working on a spoken word album. He publishes on Amazon.com and soon through Austin Macauley, and attends Federation University.
Lorraine’s response to Troy’s text:
A positive outlook
Thoughtful and inspiring ideas about planning for links for our past, with our future. This encapsulated the message in my art work.
