Thanks to the efforts of our regular campaigner Megan J Riedl, Words Out Loud is participating in the Smythesdale Fiesta on Sunday 7 February.

Starting at 2pm in the Old Courthouse in Brooke Street, the event will feature Megan with special guests including fellow WOL regulars Fraser Mackay and Zoe Werner, and we will have some 5-minute open mic opportunities available.

We attended a spoken word event at the Fiesta in 2019 and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the town of Smythesdale, so we’re chuffed to have this opportunity. We hope to see some familiar faces!
